General practice tutors work with colleagues across HEE and with local health and social care systems, notably Primary Care Networks (PCNs), Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs) to support the training and development of the entire primary care workforce.
They are embedded in Training Hubs across Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) where they work to assist clinicians to deliver high class patient-centred care and ensuring optimisation of education and workforce development across boundaries.
GP tutors may be directly involved in organising the delivery of local education, but more often engage with systems to coordinate education/development led by a variety of NHS and other provider organisations.
