Applications for LTFT training will be considered as per the guidelines given in the Gold Guide.
LTFT applications must be submitted with 16 weeks’ notice to allow the KSS GP Deanery Team to process applications before informing trusts. Trusts then require around 3 months to administer applications in line with HR policies.
For those already on LTFT training who wish increase your percentage, the 16-week minimum notice period will still apply, but this could be offered with shorter notice depending on the current placement.
