Becoming a CS-GPST supervisor

The clinical supervisor for GP speciality trainees (CS-GPST) course is for GMC recognised GP clinical supervisors who work in an approved clinical learning environment. They are not able to commit to becoming a GP educational supervisor but wish to supervise GP specialty trainees in their first and second years (GPST1/2). As such, the course is not the equivalent of the GP educational supervisor course. Thus, it will not allow clinical supervisors to train GP speciality trainees in their third year (GPST3s). If you wish to do this, please visit our Becoming a GP Educational Supervisor webpage.
