Simulation Faculty (KSS)

About Primary Care Simulation

Simulation offers a unique way of learning, and the sessions are designed to enable participants to learn about the clinical management of the scenario and the non-technical and human factors around teamwork, communication and leadership in a safe environment. Simulation training recreates various situations, including emergency scenarios and patient behaviour, that can happen in Primary Care settings and helps Primary Care staff prepare and react as a team with speed and efficiency.

Simulation Training benefits both clinical and non-clinical members of staff; it helps improve group dynamics and the entire team to work together in an efficient, collaborative manner to be ready for potential emergency situations and react to the best advantage of patients. The session also helps highlight the valuable roles of non-clinical colleagues.
