Continuing professional development (CPD) is the way in which Public Health Practitioners continue to learn and develop throughout their careers so they keep their skills and knowledge up to date and are able to practise safely and effectively. This webpage will provide CPD resources and signposting to Public Health CPD supported by HEE.
Health Protection CPD
To meet a learning and development need identified through the COVID-19 pandemic, we commissioned a Health Protection CPD webinar delivered independently by Health Protection consultants Bayad Nozad and Jennifer Taylor.
Objectives:
- To describe the core principles of health protection
- To explain roles and responsibilities of different organisations
- To discuss outbreak recognition and response
