Liz Fidler – Associate Dean – Quality
Liz is responsible for the KSS Quality Team, having an overview how quality is managed and how this fits with the other work of HEE KSS locally and regionally, as well as working with other arm’s length bodies and professional regulators to deliver high-level quality functions.
Bridget Kelly – Quality Lead
Bridget manages the operational delivery of the KSS Quality Team and associated work in order to implement the Quality Framework within KSS. Bridget is the team’s main link with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) for non-medical quality management and improvement.
Heather Haynes – Quality Support Manager (Reporting and Regulation)
Heather leads on reporting and regulatory functions for the team, in line with the HEE Quality Framework and professional regulators. Heather also leads on survey implementation, analytics and reporting required to aid quality interventions across professions. Her role includes providing reports to support multiagency intelligence sharing. Heather also operationally manages the primary care quality function.
Tiffiney Kent and Sarah Stanbridge – Quality Project Officers
Tiffiney and Sarah monitor, analyse and act upon multi-professional quality intelligence, working closely with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Medical Schools and Local Education Providers to ensure that the quality of education and training is of the highest standards and that robust quality control mechanisms are in place.
Their roles include setting up, attending and documenting quality interventions and following up on actions. They also aim to develop strong supportive relationships with education providers and act as a source of knowledge and advice for good practice and problem solving.
Nicola Trower and Sarah Stanbridge – Quality Support Administrators
Nicola and Sarah provide administrative support to the team. This includes day to day team support, coordination of work including the team’s newsletter, disseminating of information, diary management of the Associate Dean and Quality Lead, supporting survey implementation, liaison with stakeholders, and managing databases.
Yaa Addo – Quality Support Administrator (Primary Care)
Yaa provides administrative support to the team, with a focus on the primary care quality function. Yaa manages the administration of the General Practice (GP) educator and learning environment approval processes, working to ensure high-quality learning environments in primary care education.
Yaa produces reports on approval activity and also monitors Care Quality Commission (CQC) reports for practices within the KSS region for their potential impact on GP education and training.
