Surgical SuppoRTT Training day

25 March 2022 at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm

Introduction

This day will be held over Zoom and will include a number of vibrant and up-to-date speakers who will refresh your core knowledge and inform you about key changes in clinical practice and curriculum changes over the last 2-3 years. There will be a chance to network with other returning trainees, discuss other resources available and return to work confident and happy!

Objectives
Provide key updates in core subjects to increase your confidence for returning to work and on calls, allowing you to:


•Provide updates on management of common surgical emergencies
•Review conditions such as covid/ sepsis management
•Discuss returning LTFT/ suppoRTT programme
•Updates on recent curriculum changes

Return to work surgical skills workshop for trainees

Supported Return to Training Remote SIM and Coaching Course for GP Trainees

25 April 2022 at 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm

This coaching course will help support you with the things you need to consider in preparation for your return to
work, including:
● A general update regarding changes to GP training and working in General Practice.
● A facilitated session to address any issues, with advice and strategies to manage your
concerns in a safe environment, with peer support and signposting to services.
● Simulations to practice your clinical knowledge and skills in managing common scenarios.
● Coaching to prepare you for returning to work with a further 2 hours of funded 1:1 coaching
post-workshop, with a trained coach, to support you before or during your return to work.

These will be running on the following Mondays 28/02, 21/03 and 25/04 from 1-5pm.

Slam Dunk: Skills training for Psychiatry trainees returning to work

20 July 2022 at 9:45 am until 5:00 pm

Maudsley Learning hosts a one-day online course aims to support psychiatry trainees (core or higher) to return to clinical practice after an absence. All Psychiatry trainees that are returning to clinical practice in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex are welcome. 

KSS School of Anaesthesia – Return to training course

3 March 2022 at 8:30 am until 5:30 pm

For those returning to Anaesthetic training following time away for reasons such as parental leave, a period of ill health, time away for research.

This course features workshops and simulationbased sessions to include common clinical scenarios, pre-op assessment and signposting for updated guidelines.
