TAB is the Multi-Source Feedback tool that is used in the foundation programme. TAB comprises collated views from a range of multi-professional colleagues. It is mapped to the self-assessment tool with identical sections. Guidance is available on the UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO) website.
TAB is anonymous from the foundation doctor’s perspective – they cannot see which ratings / comments were submitted by each assessor. Supervisors and administrators are able to see who submitted which ratings / comments but must not share this with the foundation doctor.
The recommended dates for TAB are detailed below but these dates are not mandatory. Additional information on the TAB process can be found on the Horus Website.
