POSTPONEMENT Webinar: Addressing Health Inequalities Distribution of Medical Specialty Training programme

Message from Kate Sharman – Medical Education Reform Programme

Thank you to all those who had expressed an interest in joining the joint webinar between Health Education England, NHS England and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, scheduled for 7 February 2023. As you will be aware, this date is amongst those where the Royal College of Nurses have scheduled industrial action. We will therefore be postponing the webinar in order to avoid diverting staff away from professional duties which may be increased during this period. We are mindful that over the coming weeks there are several dates of planned industrial action and in order to avoid a clash again, we will be considering the scheduling of the webinar and circulate this in due course; it is likely to be after the end of March 2023.

In the meantime, we are grateful for the questions that have already been submitted and we will be updating our Frequently Asked Questions with some of these. The link to the pre-submission of questions will remain open and we will continue to collate these.

The future date of the webinar will be circulated via our social media channels and local offices in due course, should you require further information that is not available from our website please contact your Training Programme Director, local Health Education England office or the Distribution Programme Team.
