KSS Sexual Safety Workshop- 16th September 2025

More than 35 000 sexual safety incidents were reported to 212 NHS trusts in England between 2017 and 2022. As a supervisor, it is essential to know how to manage any disclosures that are made to you. This online workshop is designed for Heads of School, DMEs, and MEMs who work in a supervisory role in the region. This workshop will:

  • Outline the barriers to disclosing incidents of sexual misconduct in the NHS
  • Share disclosure experiences of resident doctors and what happened next
  • Provide practical advice around supporting disclosures in your role

We will be joined by Surviving in Scrubs, whose advocacy work in this area will provide valuable insights. Signposting support will be provided throughout the workshop by PSWS.

The workshop will be held online from 12.30- 16.30. A full agenda for the meeting will follow in due course.
