Get ready for Obstetrics, 14-15 September 2026
September 14 at 8:00 am until September 15 at 5:00 pm
This free 2- day course is aimed to provide an introduction to the world of Obstetric Anaesthesia for anaesthetic trainees embarking upon their obstetric novice period in preparation of IACOA.
Targeted at CT1-2 level trainees, and no prior obstetric anaesthesia experience is required.
The event will offer a mixture of interactive lectures, simulated sessions of obstetric cases and emergencies, and hands on clinical skill workshops covering the core skills required for IACOA. Sessions will be delivered by highly experienced obstetric anaesthetic consultants, and anaesthetic trainees who have already ventured into this specialist area of anaesthesia.
