SUMMARY:HEE KSS Annual Conference for Doctors in Training
DESCRIPTION:Holiday Inn Gatwick Airport  \n\n\n\nWe are very excited to invite you to the annual Doctors in Training conference. The 2023 programme will focus on the generic professional capabilities which are relevant to all doctors in training.  \n\n\n\nThe conference is open to all doctors who are in post-graduate training in the Kent Surrey & Sussex Deanery – FY1 to ST7\, primary and secondary care and KSS funded Fellows.  \n\n\n\nPlease use these booking instructions which includes a link to the events booking page – Please note that due to making arrangements any dietary requirements on bookings made after Wednesday 21st June cannot be guaranteed. \n\n\n\nSessions include:  \n\n\n\n\nPreparing for Coroner’s inquest \n\n\n\nGeneral Medical Council – the role of the regulator \n\n\n\nPractical aspects and ethical considerations of recruiting patients for clinical trials \n\n\n\nLeadership and teamworking \n\n\n\nYour own health and wellbeing \n\n\n\nArtificial Intelligence – the future of healthcare \n\n\n\nThe future of health education in Kent Surrey & Sussex\n\n\n\nQ&A session with the Dean Professor Jo Szram \n\n\n\n\nThe final agenda will be confirmed closer to the event.   \n\n\n\nLunch and refreshments included and free parking. \n\n\n\n2023 Poster Competition – Prizes for judges’ choice and attendees’ choice \n\n\n\nThis year we are inviting posters on any of the following themes  \n\n\n\n\nDoctor’s health and wellbeing \n\n\n\nImproving communication between doctors and patients \n\n\n\nImproving continuity of care \n\n\n\nConsent \n\n\n\nMedico-legal issues \n\n\n\nImproving leadership & teamworking \n\n\n\nResearch ethics \n\n\n\nHealthcare management\n\n\n\nImproving patient safeguarding \n\n\n\nHealth promotion and illness prevention \n\n\n\nInitiatives or innovations in health education \n\n\n\n\nPlease send poster abstracts to KSSPGME.se@hee.nhs.uk.  \n\n\n\nClosing date for abstracts 26th May 2023 – Successful submissions will be notified by 7th June 2023.  \n\n\n\nInstructions for abstracts:  \n\n\n\n\nThe maximum word limit for Abstract title is 20 words (excluding spaces) \n\n\n\nThe maximum word limit for Abstract text is 300 words\n\n\n\nNo images or tables allowed\n\n\n\nThere can be only 1 Presenting Author \n\n\n\nThe first author must be the Presenting Author \n\n\n\nThere is no limit to the number of co-authors
